PLUM’s Hottest Pics Of The 2013 Oscar Awards Red Carpet

-2

The Oscar Academy Awards kicked off last night at the famous.  As per usual, the who’s who of the entertainment industry stepped out for an evening of celebration and honoring of  the best performances of actors, actresses, film producers/executives, and music directors for their contribution in the most popular films of the 2012. The red carpet was under the microscope yet again, and surprisingly some of our top celebs had a “fashion fail“while others scored a “fashion hit” .

My top choices were 1) Kerry Washington [who looked STUNNING in peach MiuMiu gown with the a top layered beaded design,  2) Jennifer Hudson [who introduced Springs hottest new color – deep midnight blue], 3) Zoe Saldana went abstract with Alexis Mabille gown. It was flattering to her physique, the trail was not too much, and it was a red carpet favorite. And last by not least,  Kelly Rowland also nabbed my  fourth top choice in her black and white Donna Karen Atelier gown.

I must say that these were my choices prior to 7:30om because when Charlize Theron stepped out she jumped right to the top of my list. Ms. Theron gave everyone a run for their money last night looking slim and well toned in white Dior gown topped with her NOW signature short hair do.

Here’s a few more pic of some of my favorite red carpet looks.

Michael Strahan, Actress, Naomi Harris, and  Actor, Chris Tucker was elegantly chic last night.

Actress, Quvenzhané Wallis [the youngest black actor to be nominated for her role in “Beasts of the Southern Wild” ],  and GMA Host Robin Roberts working that deep midnight blue.  Quvenzhane didn’t nab an Oscar but she surely enjoyed the feeling of attending and sitting front row of the such a prestige honorary show. Robin stepped out fiercely bold last night. After undergoing chemo treatment for a second time and bone transplant from her sibling , Robin looked stronger than ever as she walked onto the red carpet.

My other acceptable fav’s were  Halle Berry, Hunger Games star,     and The Help star, Octavia Spencer.

This was not the best look of Halle but I loved the whole Greek Goddess/Egyptian look she attempted. Octavia Spencer looked Amazing beautiful in her Ivory/Beige Tadashi Shoji . Hunger Games star, Jennifer Lawrence [who took home an Oscar award for her role in the hit movie] WOWED the red carpet a white floral mermaid gown.
