Millions of people gathered on the Capitol Hill lawn of Washington DC to celebrate the 57th Presidential Inauguration ceremony of two-time president Barack H.Obama. Congressional leaders [both democratic and republican], Supreme Court Justices, and prior Presidents [Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter] were all in attendance for the ceremony. NY Senator Charles E. Schumer was the honorary host of the event and speakers of the ceremony included Myrlie Evers-Williams, Senior Soto sworn in the Vice President Joe Biden and Supreme Court Justice John Roberts sworn in President Barack Obama.
Performers of today’s ceremony included, James Taylor who sang “America The Beautiful” Kelly Clarkson sung [the ish out of] “Tis Of Thee“, The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, and the lovely Beyonce who sung the ” Star Spangled Banner” , Inaugural poet, Richard Blanco shared a few celebratory words for the 44th President and it’s significance in our nations strive for equality.
Sidebar: Witnessing Barack Obama swear on the bible, take the United States oath, and center his inaugural speech on the importance of equality on the very same steps where Martin Luther King stood and gave his infamous “I Have A Dream Speech” was just remarkable to watch.

First Lady, Michelle Obama looked stunningly beautiful in Tom Brown [American designer] dress and coat paired with a J. Crew belt, gloves, and shoes.
“The Faith In America’s Future” themed celebration continued with a celebratory parade, and Inaugural Ball which concluded later in the evening. As Barack left the podium following his speech, he was overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude. Looking upon the crowd once more, the president says to his one of his bodyguards:
“I want to take a look, one more time,” Obama said. “I’m not going to see again.”
You can say that again. Today was yet another historical moment in our history for everyone to see.
