Rihanna grabs center attention once again -thanks to her seven cover RiRi  spread in Complex magazine in celebration of  her new album “UnApologetic” . The self-proclaimed “badgyal” talks about the inspiration behind her new album, collaborating with Chris Brown,  her 777 tour experience, and being guarded about her personal life [this time around]. In the mag, RiRi says most of the “negative stories” reported about her and or her personal life is quite the contrary.

“People take the little bit of information they’re fed, and they draw a picture of who you are,” she says. “Most of the time it’s wrong.”

However, RiRi does acknowledge that “all is sometimes unfair” [for her at least] in the love triangle web with Chris Brown and ‘ex-girlfriend’ Karrueche.

“ There’s no question that life throws us curve balls. “We do our best to deal with them, take the lessons and keep it moving without regrets. “Being single sucks. The only thing I get to do anymore is whatever the fuck I want to do.”

Check her photos from the spread below along with a few excerpts from her interview with the mag below:

On Unapologetic:

“I held back before. I didn’t show a lot of myself. I was very guarded,” she says. “I needed to be open and free and fearless. Basically say, ‘Fawk it.’ What’s the worst that can happen? They’ll hate me? They’ve done that before.”

On collaborating with Chris Brown on the “Birthday Cake” remix:

“It’s all about the music. Everything else doesn’t even play a part in the studio.” “The-Dream didn’t write it for them as a duet. Jay-Z and I were in the car together listening to the song, and we thought it would be a great duet. It sounds dope. It feels good. That’s how Chris ended up on the song.”

On Acquiring And Living Up To Her “Bad Girl” persona RiRi says:
“I was so rude when I was a little girl. I got my ass beat by my mother for that. Most of the time it was because of my mouth.”

Rocnation manager Tyran ‘Ty-Ty‘ Smith affirms that despite what we see of the ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ image persona on her  [instagram and twitter], Ri-Ri is a hard-worker.

“It’s not all about champagne and bubbles and blunts. She’s working really, really hard.”
