As we proceed -to bring you what you need! Today’s C.L.O.D goes to Wayne Marshall. In the new medley mix track “ Go Hard” [which features Bounty Killer, Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley, I-Octane, Assassin, Agent Sasco, Aidonia, and the infamous Vybz Kartel] ,the dj’s. Before you ask -Mr Kartel is still behind bars – however, he managed to record his verse via [telephone].
The track is produced by Baby G [the infamous producer who also produced Movado’s hit record “On The Rocks”] of Ghetto Youths International and directed by Ras Kasa: The Guru. According to OutARoad.com the compilation record initially stemmed from Baby G wanting to create a mixtape style track featuring some of today’s hottest caribbean dj’s and who better than Wayne Marshall to execute the job. The track has already generated a huge BUZZ in the caribbean islands; and since its debut on Dec.17th h[here in the states] it has already scored over 3 million views.
As for the huge buzz Marshall says:
“It’s crazy. I really feel like that song is a big deal…We wanted to make a big collaborative dancehall track with that kind of Wu-Tang feel,” Marshall explains. “Hip-hop energy blended with that dancehall snare – just something anthem-like.”
