In wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on [Friday Dec.14] that left 20 children and six adults dead, Sybrina Fulton [mother of Trayvon Martin -who was gunned downed by a neighborhood watchmen just for being BLACK ] has issued a CALL TO ACTION on Gun Control in the United States. The Root reports that Fulton recently spoke out and expressed her strong concerns during an organization event with Hurting Families with Children in Crime in Jacksonville Florida.
“Now maybe they’ll do something about guns! No matter what color a child is, a hurt is a hurt.”
Sybrina Fulton went on to talk about her own grief of losing her child [who was 17 at the tine of his death] earlier this year and how she works diligently and tirelessly [each day] to bring JUSTICE for her son’s killer while noting that her heart bleeds for the parents of children who lost their child in this horrible tragedy.
“I feel bad for the families of these little boys and girls,” she said. “The parents have a long road of healing ahead.”
