Okay! Will.I.Am debut his new video “Scream And Shout” which features pop music icon, Britney Spears. This is the second time that the pair have worked together on a song but their first video they’ve collaborated in. The Ben Mor black and gold directed video features Will and Britney in a series of multidimensional images, along with other symbolic images [pyramids, camera/phone gadgets, and fashion accessories, and of course a group of dancers] in the party-anthem vid.
According to Mor [who spoke with MTV] , his vision for the video was not to play more on the lyrics and theme of the record but to show a more abstract view by using symbols instead.
” I was essentially trying to reduce what the song is about to symbols. And that’s what it was … just really keeping it clean and iconic.” – says Mor.
Sidebar: Aside from the simplicity of the track [Scream And Shout] I just love when Britney says “It’s Britney B-t-h”. Is it me or does Britney put on a “Brit-ish” accent on the record.
Anywho, there is no doubt that this song will be the next big record for the pair, and will be played at every club in the states and overseas. Since its debut on X-Factor show Thursday night [Nov. 29] the video has peaked over 9 million views on VEVO. Will-I-Am -is a marketing genius.
