The 2012 American Music Awards performances of the night included Usher [who gave another stellar performance of his current top charting singles, Swizz Beatz, Ludacris, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj who performed both a solo act and a duo performance of Beauty and The Beat” alongside Justin Beiber [who was the talk of the night], Pink [who tore up the stage with the the illest dance choreography], a tribute to Dick Clarke performed by Stevie Wonder, and the infamous PSY who performed his hit single “Gangnam Style” featuring Mc Hammer.
Sidebar: I must say that I was surprised yet pleased to see Nicki Minaj perform “Freedom” [a new song off her sophomore album Pink Friday ‘The Reup’] . The singer also beat out her labelmates. Tyga and Drake for best hip hop artist
As for artist, ‘PSY’ – his performance was grand and he surely had the the entire audience going “BANANAS”.
