Congrat’s are in order for Love & Hip Hop-Atlanta star K. Michelle. As you may/or may not know, the singer went through professional and personal turmoil after signing to Jive Records back in 2008, and was absent from the industry for a few years. Michelle was dating her then manager/boyfriend Memphitz ,but the relationship and her record deal reportedly fell through following a “domestic incident and mismanagement of her advance money that resulted in K. Michelle being released from the record company.
However, K. Michelle continued to push through. The singer landed a gig on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop franchise, grew her popularity, and won over fans with her latest “O F–ks Given” mixtape. Now K.Michelle has landed a new record deal with Warner Bro’s earlier this week!
This is great news for the star, who once recalls her low points in life of being a single mother, homeless, and blackballed from the music industry . LHHA reality show scored the highest ratings in reality television and has already been picked up for a second season, and now K. Michelle is given a second chance at her first love: music.
