Brandy is grinding so hard on the promo trail for her new album ‘Two Eleven‘ [which is in stores and itunes right now] The singer covers the November issue of Vibe Vixen magazine looking boldly fierce and ready to reclaim her music throne. Brandy is currently in New York this week performing and interviewing at almost every hot spot in town. Brandy music career took a nose dive eight years ago and many people wondered if Brandy would ever return to music, but after releasing the party anthem hit song “Put It Down” featuring Chris Brown, Brandy is making a huge comeback!
“It’s amazing that people still have a love for me and still feel like they can relate to me,” the 33-year-old siren admits on a recent Sunday. “It really does keep me on my toes, just being a role model for young girls, but I am grown. I gotta sing for the grown people sometimes says Brandy.”
It’s been a rough few years for the star. Brandy found herself at the center of news headlines [following a terrible car crash she was involved in] and at the bottom list of record sales with her last two album debuts. Back with a new attitude and a better self-esteem [which Brandy credits to her “Star” fans] , Brandy is now ready to “Put It Down” for her fans once again and she has recouped her old sound in proving her musical efforts [which seems to be paying off well]. However, the starlet says that it hasn’t always been an easy breakthrough.
“I thought it was over. I didn’t really have a deal and it seemed like no one was interested in giving me another chance. People were calling me a has-been and it felt like it was over for me.”
