This beef stew is way too hot for my taste. The fued between rapper Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy took an interesting twist earlier this week and now singer Keyshia Cole along with rapper T.I’s name has been added to the mix.
Gucci Mane, who’s gearing up to release his new mixtape “Trap God” [which drops Oct. 17th] released a new song entitled “Truths” this week targeting his nemisis Young Jeezy and revealing some “private information” regarding the break-up of Young Jeezy and Keyshia Cole a few years back. In the song, Gucci Manes claims that “Diddy” was sleeping with Keyshia Cole while Cole dated Young Jeezy and Gucci calls Jeezy a lame for falling in lover with the singer.
“I did a song with Keyshia Cole and I know you still miss her /But Puff [aka Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs] was f*cking her while you was falling in love wit her“ -raps Gucci Mane.
Keyshia Cole has since lashed out at the star on twitter saying that the lyrics are “all lies” and says that Gucci should not involve her in his beef with Jeezy under no circumstance. Here’s what she tweeted:
“Putting all ya trust in some of these ‘Hood Rappers’..
“How u gone be a G, and u spreading lies, To sell mix tapes!”
“Where ya talent at? ”
“I will continue 2 build what I’m working so hard accomplish! I’m married with a child, and don’t have no place in that none sense!”
MTV reports that the fued between Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy started from a radio interview that Gucci did with Power 105.1 Breakfast Club show recently.
“Gucci referred to the Snowman as a “sucka“ during an interview with Power 105’s the Breakfast Club in New York on Wednesday. On Friday, the Young responded by calling Gucci “retarded“during a radio interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Power 106 in Los Angeles immediately after Gucci dropped “Truth,” a scathing dis track and music video aimed at Jeezy. It’s no coincidence that Gucci is dropping his next mixtape Trap God on October 17 and the drama has gone a long way in raising awareness for the release.
After Jeezy appeared on Gucci’s 2005 single “Icy,” the relationship between the two spiraled out of control and even spilled into the streets, leading to Gucci shooting a known Jeezy affiliate in an incident that was dropped in court due to insufficient evidence. (Gucci admitted to shooting his assailants but maintained he was acting in self-defense.)”
Gucci has since challenged Jeezy to a ‘fight’ and says he’s willing to put up 100k. He then adds that if TIP [aka T.I] wanted to get into the mix he welcomes the invitation via twitter.
