Jay-Z had a successful event at the opening ceremony of Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York. The music mogul gave a homecoming concert in front of his fellow New Yorkers who packed the stadium. Born and raised in Marcy projects in Brooklyn, NY [which is approx 15 minutes away from the Barclay Center] Jay-z was dressed for the occasion ‘Jiggaman’ sported a brooklyn nets basketball jersey with the his name Carter] printed in the back with his and Bey’s favorite number [4]
With his wife Beyonce, by his side [near the stage area] Jay-Z performed many of his classical hit songs but he also delivered a new freestyle during his introductory rap and high tech video of the late rapper, Biggie Smalls for a duet performance.
