The time has come. Rihanna debut her new song “Diamond’s which the is the lead single off of her ucpoming seventh album this morning [Sept 26th]. Rihanna’s single cover art shows the pop singer rolling diamonds [not marijuana] in a joint. The singer expressed her enjoyment of the song to her fans and says that she wanting to do a record opposite of her previous records.
“You’re not sad. You’re happy and hippie”. It’s hopeful. It gives me a great feeling when I listen to it. The lyrics are hopeful and positive. It’s about love and the gears are different than what people will expect. I want to make it interesting, fresh, ahead of what’s on the radio. That’s the challenge for me.”
