While the rumor verdict is still out with the jury, on the estranged relationship with 50 cent and Floyd Mayweather, 50 Cent and Floyd seems to be sicking to their stories. Netiher 50 Cent or Floyd has given a straight answer on whether or not they are still friends but the they have in separate interviews subtledly admit that the friendship between hasn’t fully dissolved but it’s not same as it once was [at the moment].
In a recent interview with Power 105.1 last week, 50 Cent was asked about his friendship with Floyd given the rumors surrounding his recent partnership with Manny Pacquiao, and the rumors re: 50 sexual encounter with Mayweather’s girl Shantel [while Floyd was serving a prison term]. Rather than anwer a simple yes or no 50 pointed out that it was business move when partnering with Pacquiao and noted that he was in communication with Floyd [whether he agreed or not] from start to finish when pursuing this new venture.
As for the rumors of 50 sleeping with Shantel, 50 says that he was asked to go Shantel’s birthday party [at the request of Flyyod who felt it would be good press for his girlfriend] then he stated folowing:
“Hoes are not for sale. They’re for rent. Your not suppose to buy them.
As I recall 50 cent was also about Kanye and Kim during that interview and he ssid that he’d didn’t want to say anything about Kim given that Kanye is passionate about her So why didn’t he respond the same when discussing Shantel?. Hmm! Sounds 50 was talking that whole Bro’s before Hoe’s lingo
Now Floyd has gotten wind of 50 cent’s interview and when asked of the two’s relationship during an interview with Fight Hype here’s what Floyd had to say about it all.
On Whether Or Not He’s Beefin With 50 Cent:
“It’s not that we’re beefin’. You gotta realize, 50, he travels a lot and he has other stuff,” Mayweather told Fight Hype recently. “He’s got his headphones, he has his energy drink, you know, he makes appearances overseas, so he’s very busy, and I’m making a lot of appearances, so a lot of times, two people may not always be on the same page, but that don’t mean it’s a hate-hate relationship. Everybody wants to see me and 50 bump heads.”

On The Current State Of Their Friendship:

After my incident, it made me look at life in a total different way,” Mayweather said. “When you hear things, like they say, ’50 Cent went out there and done an interview and 50 said this and said that,'” well, if he’s my real friend, no matter what he says about me, I’m still going to conduct myself in an orderly fashion.” It’s not a real friendship if he’s my friend in January, and not in February. That means were weren’t really friends…. Real friends go thorugh ups and downs and I don’t believe in putting the media or the public in my business with my friends.
