The rumor verdict is in and Nicki Minaj has officially been confirmed as one of the new American Idol
After weeks of rumors, Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson, Keith Urban, and Nicki Minaj, and Nicki Minaj has been confirmed as the new judges for upcoming American Idol season. Idol host, Ryan Seacrest tweeted the announcement to fans earlier today saying:
“It’s official, your new #IdolJudges are @MariahCarey, @NickiMinaj, @KeithUrban & @Yo_RandyJackson! Everyone gave a heartfelt toast about being on the show after we ate last night. Can’t wait to see the first contestants today.”
Reportedly, Nicki Minaj will earning a whopping $8 million for the gig and Ketih Urban will be raking in $4 million for his position as well. Still not word as to how much Mariah Carey signed on but it clearly was a good offere because she’s in. The singer also tweeted a picture of herself on her way to the New York auditions today.
