The more this story is discussed, the more skeleton’s are revealed out of Evelyn and Chad’s marriage closet. In a new interview with People magazine, Evelyn Lozado provides a few more details of the Aug 11th incident with her and Chad that left her running to a neighbors house for help and getting five -to six stitches in her forehead [which she stills has to cover up when appearing in public].
In the mag, Evelyn reveals that she was actually preparing a dinner celebration and while unloading the groceries out of the car she discovered the receipt of condoms that were purchased by Chad just three weeks after the two married on July 4th.
“I’m not naive. I didn’t think he was going to be perfect, but three weeks after we were married? I felt like he was not even trying.”
Evelyn admits that Chad cheated throughout the relationship and although she’d accepted it she thought that Chad would [at least] shape up a bit post marriage. Evelyn says there were times she confronted Chad about his flirtatious ways with other women on twitter but she’d never push the envelop on the discussion, cause Chad would get that look in his eye. Unlike what public saw of Chad [the funny loving athlete, who also wowed us with his charm on Dancing With The Stars] , Evelyn says Chad had a dark side.
“I always knew (to back down) when he got that look in his eye. It was scary.”
Evelyn is still close with Chad’s kids [especially his older daughter Jicyra] and decided not to further elaborate on the details of those prior incidents.
Evelyn says that ultimately she decided to confront Chad about a possible divorce after finding the condoms and realiziing that enough was enough for her and explains that it didn’t go over well with Chad. Chad reportedly flew in a rage and headbutted her.
“I had blood in my eyes, I was tasting it. I remember realizing, oh my God, the news is going to get out. I was so humiliated.”
“I never once lifted a finger to Chad, not that day, not prior. I never attempted to do anything to him.”
While Chad is still professing his love to Evelyn, [even stretching as far getting a face tattoo of her], and denoucing every follower on twitter that even mentions the D-word to him, Evelyn says:
“I’ll always have a love for him. I don’t care what the argument is or who the man is, that should never be tolerated.”
