[Must See] Lupe Fiasco Sparks “Bitch Conversation” After Premiere Of “Bad Bitch” Video

Don’t Be Fooled By The Title Of The Song!

Lupe fiasco new video “Bad Bitch” exposes the truth about the underlying messages that were sending to the youths of the world. Automatically, when see and hear the title of the song; many of us would instantly get turned off and “clog our ears” but in this day and age of music a female being called a B*TCH appears to be of the social NORM [at least in the black culture], and rather than speaking up against many of us pay tribute to the title by singing along and paying little attention to the ripple effects.

In the video, Lupe uses a small fraction of today’s typical video themes; you know, women gyrating in scantily clothing and parading around rappers as if they have no other aspirations in life. Lupe  shows the images and portrayals of these type of women and men and the impact that is has on the daughters and son’s of the world.

Take a listen to Verse One of the song:

Now imagine there’s a shawty, maybe five maybe four/
Ridin’ ’round with his mama listening to the radio/
And a song comes on and a not far off from being born/
Doesn’t know the difference between right and wrong/
Now I ain’t trying to make it too complex/
But let’s just say shawty has an undeveloped context/
About the perception of women these days/
His mama sings along and this what she says/
“Niggas I’m a bad bitch, and I’m bad bitch/
far above average”/
And maybe other rhyming words like cabbage and savage/
And baby carriage and other things that match it/
Couple of things that are happenin’ here/
First he’s relatin’ the word “bitch” with his mama, comma/
And because she’s relatin’ to herself, his most important source of help, And mental/ health, he may skew respect for dishonor/
