[Video] R&B DIVAS Episode 1 Breaks TVOne Records

From L-R: Keke Wyatt, Syleena Johnson, Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, And Monifah

TV One network new reality show “R&b Divas” broke tv one records this week during it’s premiere on Monday night [August 20th ]. Close to 479,000 viewers tuned in to watch the first episode; peaking the highest numbers since the network launched back in 2004.

The reality show, which features R&B singers Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt, follow each of these women as they try to rehash their music career and work together on a compilation album together for charity; one of which includes  the Whitney Houston foundation.

In the first episode, the singers all reconnect in Atlanta or as they call it “Hotlanta” and, Faith Evans introduces the idea of a group album which surprisingly went over well with all the DIVAS. Each of the women have their own personal challenges that they’re facing and they will come face to face with along with restarting their singing career as well. Seems like a great show.
