To all my ladies, gents, and pole lovers this is one event you don’t want to miss. My good friend Roz Mays aka “The Diva” is hosting her first pole event this month. In honor and celebration of all the plus size pole athletes who too, put it down on the pole , viewers will get a first look at some of NY “Dangerous Curves” hosted by comedian Luenell. Due to popular demand, the list of competitors have been filled and tickets are selling out quickly.
As for “The Diva” herself ; She’s a the 2011 champion of the annual Polesque competition, and she’s also taken the WINNING crown on many occasions at the notable SIN City strip Club in NYC; beating out the hired employees as well. In 2011, Roz who was at the height of her corporate career , decided to take a chance on her dreams instead. She became a Pole instructor and the rest history. One year later, Roz landed a role as a stunt double in the 2011Adam Sandler movie “I Hate You Dad” who she starred alongside with Luenell [who played a stripper in the movie] and she now teaches pole classes weekly at “Scared”.

From a personal stance, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Roz for long period prior to her embarking on her new career, and I’ve attended pole sessions on many occasions with her and it’s definitely a great work-out exercise. In attempts to restore my great body to its natural form, I channeled my inner pole abilities following the birth of my two toddlers and it brought great results. Pole restores muscle toning in the arms, legs, stomach and buttocks] , and it’s also a confidence booster for women [especially] those of whom that want step it up in the bedroom for their mates oppose to putting it all out there at the strip club.
I’ve learned to NEVER underestimate the talent and ability of another and that Confidence lies within all of us. Roz is beautfiul, bold, free spirited, and Yes she loves the Pole, but she uses her power to empower other women to be expressively free [not just for the sole purpose of Making Money] but loving themselves In and Out despite what size they are.
