Rapper, Azaelia Banks is in full mermaid swag on in the Sept/ Oct. Look issue of Spin magazine. The harlem rapper, graces the new cover of the mag, and inside she talks about her grind to pop superstardom, her love of fashion and designer Alexander Wang, and she also touches little on her personality [which she says is opposite of what many people think of her based on ever growing twitter beefs].
Peep the gallery below, and take a listen to two new tracks that Azaelia released recently. The first one is “Van Vogue” and the other is entitled “Succubi”, a diss track that Azaelia Banks wrote in response to her fellow harlem native Jim Jones [who got into a war of words with Banks via twitter over the word ‘VAMP’]
The track is produced by Araab Muzik and Azaelia returned to her hip hop roots on this while issuing a few diss punchlines at Jim . Referring to Jim’s past beefs, Banks raps:
“Tru Life stole all ya chains/
Max B wrote all ya flames/
Montana rode all ya waves/
Killa called you a lame.”
She closes the track saying, “It takes a Harlem b—h to execute a Harlem b—h.” You Pop S*it, I pop Sh*t
Sidebar: Banks distributed wicked the wordplay on this one.
