Oh lawd. I knew this was not going to go over well. More drama unfolds in the Chad and Evelyn head-butting incident.
Now that the public is made aware of the domestic violence incident that took between Chad and Evelyn this past weekend, there has been much back and forth of who struck who?
Chad claims that Evelyn head-butted him during their heated argument over purchase condoms [that he’d bought] and Evelyn is sticking with her story stating that she was headbutted by her NFL baller and she’s pressing charges.
Oh This Is Serious!!
According to NFL.com;
“Beyond the “he said, she said” version of events, the most notable part of the report is that Lozada told the police she wanted to press charges. She signed an affidavit saying so.”
An affidavit: A sworn testimony of an eye witness accounts of an incident of a crime made under oath. Yes, I know the law dictionary, worked in the industry for a long period, and should’ve of been a lawyer. Hopefully in the next life time.
What’s interesting about this story is that Chad has one prior charge of domestic abuse but since his entry into the NFL league he’s never been convicted of a crime. As a married couple this is a very “touchy” situation. Evelyn’s previous behavior on Basketballwives, doesn’t paint her in a good light, and could lack her credibility as the victim. However, Chad isn’t off the hook as yet. As a pro-athlete in the NFL he has the strength and ability to strike with such force, I mean, it is an day-day field tactic used in practice and on the field.
I am truly BOTHERED by this. Despite all the naysayers, I was really was pulling for these two. They appear to have good chemistry and they also shared alot in common. No pun intended but fighting with one another could’ve been one of the commonalities. LOL. No seriously, this clearly isn’t the best example for their kids [Chad has 4 from previous relationships and Evelyn has a daughter from another relationship]
What example are these two setting for their children?
This feud has had fans of Chad and Evelyn choosing sides and surprisingly many people are on the side of Chad [the alleged accuser] . Some people are saying that Evelyn is set out to ruin Chad’s career now that’s he admitted to purchasing the condoms aka “cheating”. This morning the a trending tweet by a user name ‘Not BillWalton’ retweeted by hundreds of people an still ongoing.
C’mon people I know we can do better than this. This is surely not the time for humiliating and bashing Evelyn during such an emotional and difficult time. Can’t we wait to get more facts at least? Sheesh!
