Beef Stew: K. Michelle Debuts Domestic Abuse Ad And Responds To Toya Wright

Like it or not K. Michelle is telling her story. The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star is spreading the word about domestic violence against women and she’s now raising national awareness with the help of non-profit organization “Saving Our Daughters”.

“I am here to help a young mother learn to love herself first. I am here to help take the power away from date abuse. I am here to help take the power away from violence against women,” says K. Michelle. “I am here to help take the power away from all esteem slayers. I am here to yell confidence.”

As seen above, K. Michelle dresses up in a wedding and appears battered and bruised in the 30 second clip as she delivers a message to women to be take a stand against abuse and be brave enough to stand alone even when others don’t believe you.

Saving Our Daughters  said;

Through critical learning tools and very eager adult allies (like songstress K.Michelle and entrepreneur Mimi Faust), young participants are equipped with heightened awareness of self worth issues and immediate ways to create positive impact in their own communities. The “I Am Here” campaign will aid this initiative”

Talk About Perfect Timing!

Less than 48 hours ago, Toya Wright [the wife of K. Michelle alleged abuser] went on verbal rant about K. Michelle industry reputation [as a crazy woman], her parenting role [which Toya says K.Michelle does not have full custody of her son], and the “false rumors” of domestic abuse of her husband Memphitz [the man in question] which Toya says she has yet to see any proof of.

Well, K. Michelle not only issued a public video message but she also took to twitter to give Toya a few choice words of her credibility as well.

The beef thickens. i’s great to see K. Michelle advocating for a great and personal cause now hopefully Toya, Memphitz and K Michelle can all have a sit down and throw everything out on the table.
