The word has been buzzing that Neptunes Producer Pharell Williams is one of the Music Stars being considered to become a new judge on American Idol due to Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler’s departures.
According to US WEEKLY mag, Randy will be taking on a “mentoring” role, leaving two vacancies open. Pharell hasn’t made up his mind on the offer and is currently negotiating the terms of his contract. I’m sure he will make a smart decision and add on to his accomplishments.
For those who may not know Pharell, he’s produced hits for Jay-Z, The Clipse, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears and many more. Nick Jonas is also said to be a likely Judge contender on the show as well.
I’d love to see Skate Board P on American Idol. He looks like a fair critic, well we shall see.
