New Music: J.Cole “The Cure”

What a great way to kick off the weekend. Rapper, J.Cole finally releases some new material and he’s dropping lyrical jewels once again. Cole, seemed to have went “under radar” from the music arena following the release his first studio lp “Cole World: The Sideline Story”, he was actually touring the world and getting his feet wet in the game courtesy of his boss Jay-Z.

I got a chance to see J.Cole live concert performance at the 2012 Hot 97 summer Jams concert and aside from his wicked word play and catchy songs, he was definitely a crowd pleaser.

Cole seems to be back in the studio gearing up to release some new music to fans and last night he debuted a new track entitled “The Cure”, a cover song of Jay-Z and Kanye Lift Off song from the Watch The Throne Album and Cole doesn’t disappoint. In the song J. Cole raps:

Coleworld, the new Nat King/
If I ain’t the illest n—a,/
I’m his new vaccine/
Really more like poison with this new jack swing/
And my bed is like a deck of cards, two black queens/

Listen to the track and tell us what you think?
