Melodie Ramona Parker [aka Ms. Melodie], most notably known as a member of the hip hop group “Boogie Down Productions Crew”, died on Tuesday [July 17th] yesterday reports the news.
Ms.Parker, the ex-wife of hp hop pioneer KRS-ONE died suddenly yesterday. Parker’s death is still unknown however we do know that she resided in Brooklyn NY and is survived by her two sons.
Parker released her first album “DIVA” back in 1989 on Jive Records and best known for her hit song and video “Hype and “Live On Stage”. Parker was also gained public notoriety during the female hip hop era when she droped the hit song “Self Destruction” and later when she teamed up other female hip-hop heavyweight Queen Latifah and Mon “Ladies First”
