Last week, Mary J. Blige and D’Angelo announced that they will be co-headlining a series of tour dates around the U.S entitled “The Liberation Tour” which is slated to begin next month. well the tour dates now have been released.
This will be D’Angelo’s first tour since his 12-year hiatus from the industry back in 2000 when dropped “Voodoo” album. Now that he’s trim down and stage ready, D’Angelo promises viewers an unforgettable show which will feature all of his hit songs including the one’s we missed, yet expected [like ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘Lady’, ‘Break up 2 Make ups’] at his performance at the 2012 BET Awards.
Know need explaining Mary. She brings it every time and she has more than enough hit songs to headline the tour all by herself. The duo has also snatched up singer Melanie Fiona who will be the opening act for the two.
These are three powerful singers. This ought to be a great show.
