Cleatly, Nick felt she had something to prove [since her hiatus from the 2012 Hot 97 Summer Jam Concert], hence the reason for the both song choices and performance style. Nicki sustain her “hood swagged” all night and towards the end her acceptance speech:
I really, really appreciate BET for keeping this category alive, and I appreciate all the female rappers doing their thing, past, present and future, then she belts out loudly: Step Ya D*ck Up! .
Sidebar: Really? Dismissing and/or Erasing your “Etiquette” especially at Awards shows is surely not a good thing?
