The Kardashians [aka The Royal Reality Show Family] sat down for a candid interview Oprah Winfrey last night [Sunday June 17th] Oprah got straight to questions and curiosities at hand, and the Kardashians were open and not as guarded as many of us assumed they would be.
There were a few good moments and a few questionable moments. The Kardashians talked of their celebrity lives and the pro’s and con’s of their fame which they is often portrayed negatively. Robert Kardashian says he hates the word famous and what it implies because the Kards’ basically inherited the title from their famous dad Rob Kardshian, their upbringing, and not to mention they were living amongst other celebrities [Paris Hilton, Bruce Spring Stein, OJ Simpson, Nicole Brown, Brandy, Ray-J].
Kim-K says: I think that’s so ridiculous, because first of all, we have to hire a manager, so regardless, someone is going to get that (money), No one will fight harder for you than your own mother. She knows all of our moods.
Now as for the questionable moments:
I only have one and it’s Kim address to her 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries, and the final [unexplainable] break-up. Rather than simply apologize for her public stunt, Kim skated around the question only to say that the reasons are too personal to speak of yet she openly stated that Kris is a nice guy, issues an apology for hurting Kris, and later announce that she’s still seeking her fairytale life [although she’s not divorce as yet] which potentially could be her best friend [that we never knew of before] turned beau Kanye West.
My opinion of it all:
Now, Kim says she knew Kris WASN’T the one when they finally moved in together after the wedding. Yet they spent and entire season [living separate] on reality television telling the world how their sudden hook-up and 72 day marriage was REAL and based on the premise of love only to reveal in the end thats she’s sorry if she caused pain [to Kris] and says that She Wouldn’t Take Anything Back because she’s learned so much from her experiences.
She also noted that she is upset with H.A.T.E.R.S [social media, the bloggers, the public etc] that use their public platform to say only the negatives of her life [which she says is so untrue] rather than report the good aspects of her.
Kim concludes by telling Orah that she wants her fairytale and although things didn’t work out in her two previous marriages, she still seeks her fairytale which includes [a prince charming, children, and big mansion, etc]
So, Oprah asks Kim is Kanye West her fairy tale and she responds:
In related news, Kim and Kanye hit up the streets of Paris where they dined out for lunch and later cruised the streets in Ye’s white lamborghini.
