[Confirmed] Terrence-J And Rocsi Leaving BET 106th & Park

They’re Moving On!

It’s official people! Terrence J. and Rocsi are leaving BET’s 106th & Park. According to the NY post, the BET hosts is leaving the network to pursue their acting careers. As you may know the two were already transitioning into hollywood realm and starring in films. Terrence J made a big name for himself after starring in the hit blackbuster movie “Think Like A Man” while Rocsi is reportedly heading West after recently landing a starring role in an upcoming film entitled “Soul Ties”.

Terrence J and Rocis replaced former hosts ‘Free’ And ‘AJ Calloway’ [who hosted the show from 2000-2005 and their one-year replacements Big Tigger and Julissa Bermudez who hosted from 2005-2006]  and while many people thought they were unequipped and too young for the role they surely exceeded many expectations.

BET has made no announcement as to the time of their departure but they did noted that their were going to be some big changes in this year’s show line-up. which we’ve recently seen with the departure of lead stars Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall of BET’s hit show “The Game”

Anywho, Terrence J and Rocis held it down for six years and did a marvelous job. They also have a wonderful relationship with the network so I’m sure all will end well with their departure.

Sidebar: Now, I’m a bit mature for my age to be the host 106th & Park but I would most certainly accept the role if an opportunity arised. I things it’s about time BET start putting some chocolate women in the front of the camera’s [as they did with Brandy this season on the Game]  and not favor more of the chocolate men instead. So if your looking for a replacement on the Game and or 106th & Park: I’m Your Girl!
