Does someone have the right to invade one’s private headquarters?
Well, it seems as though that is the question of the day in the case of Raven Symone. The National Enquirer [who is a credible magazine; at least these days] recently aired an article which implied that Raven Symone was indeed GAY, living in secret, and is currently living with AzMarie Livingston from America’s Next Top Model. As news spread across the media airwaves, Raven quickly took twitter to weigh in her opinion on the matter at hand.
“I’m living my PERSONAL life the way I’m happiest. I’m not one, in my 25-year career to disclose who I’m dating. and I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m dating to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life. However that is my right as a HUMAN Being whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I’m not harming anyone.
I am a light being made from love, and my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses! “
Clearly it is no-one’s business what a person’s sexual orientation but it also doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what Raven response is alleging. Raven never states whether she’s gay, straight or bi-sexual, but she doesn’t deny it either and we all know that is a typical response reply for someone who is not in a heterosexual relationship. If their not gay and or don’t want to be associated in that category they often respond: I AM NOT GAY! We usually see the contrary response when some one is on the down-low [meaning that their in a heterosexual relationship, and their mate nor family/friends have no clue that their ‘secretly gay’ and preferably enjoy sexual pleasure with the same sex instead, and or if some one does not want to be outed publicly.
This is one of the biggest causes that lead many to commit suicide and live in hiding -PUBLIC SCRUTINY, and alot of it has to do with our social norms, practice and beliefs. Enough is Enough! Discrimination has to be rid of across the board, and not just on a race level.
I’m so sick of it all of the prejudices of race, gender bias, class [wealthy, middle class, and working poor] and sexual orientation of others. We all [aside from Atheists] agree that GOD [whomever you may call him: Jesus, Jah, Jesus, Jehovah, Yahweh, Lord, Almighty] is the ‘Judge’ and ‘Jury’ and the end of the day so let him/her be the deciding factor. All Of Us [gay, straight, bi-sexual any other orientations] are placed here for a purpose and it’s about time we pay more attention to important issues plaguing our world as a whole, and worry less about what someone chooses to do in their bed room quarters.
Now a cheater is a cheater, and for those of you who are on the down-low, you need to at least come forward in telling the truth to your spouses/mates and or end the relationship because it is this type of “SLACKNESS” and Sexual Disobedience that causes major problems for many people.
