President Barack Obama recent support of legislating gay marriage has been the center of discussion these days and many politicians [especially the replublicans] feel that this can hinder is re-election as well as lessen some of his religious supporters who highly favored and back him in the current term.
Well, rapper Jay-Z [who also a close friend to the president] recently spoke out in defense of the president’s proposal and says that he too supports the legislation of gay marriage. In the interview with a CNN correspondent, Jay-Z say’s that “Discrimination is Discrimination” no matter how one chooses to slice the pie, so whether the President loses votes [by some] than so be it because it’s the right thing to do.
I’ve always thought it as something that’s still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business. You choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against Blacks. It’s discrimination, plain and simple.
