Sheree Whitfield Gets Axed From Real Housewives Of Atlanta

It’s Official.

Sheree Whitfield and Bravo have parted ways. Last week rumors surfaced the web that Whitfield was terminated from the show following a meeting with producers of the show where Sheree allegedly demanded more money for the upcoming season. The producers reportedly didn’t feel as though Sheree was bringing ratings to the show like her co-stars so instead of upping her paying they gave her the pink slip instead.

The reality star first emerged on Bravo’s first Housewives reality show Housewives of Atlanta show back in and she became an overnight sensation with infamous one liners such as ‘Who Gon Check Me Boo’, ‘She By Sheree’, and the recent ‘Chateau Sheree’ [which Sheree titled of her dream home that she began building this past season]

This can’t be of good to news to Sheree who is currently in the middle of billing her multi-milion dollar home. I wonder what will happen with Chateau Sheree now? Sheree has finally broke her silence and confirmed her departure from the Bravo network.

Sheree’s insists that she was not axed and instead left the show to pursue a more positive lifestyle.

After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful Housewives franchise, I have decided to leave. The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I’m tired of the fighting and the cattiness.

I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect. I wish the rest of the women the best of luck. I’m thrilled to say I’m now a free agent and am already fielding offers

According to S2S sources, NeNe, arguably the breakout star of the show, gets about $750K for stirring up drama on the series. It’s not clear what Sheree’s salary was, but the former designer reportedly asked for more and ended up cut.

Insiders close to the show’s stars said Sheree begged to remain on the series and broke down into tears.
