[Beef Stew] Nia Crooks Speaks Out On Slapping Jennifer Williams. Jennifer Slaps Back With Lawsuit Against Crooks.

We all witness the infamous season 4 showdown between basketball wives star Jennifer Williams and her former friend Nia Crooks [who is also the assistant of Evelyn Lozado ]. After Monday night’s [April 16th] episode aired, Crooks became a trending topic on the internet. In the episode Crooks and Williams engage in a war of words which ends with Crooks slappin the — out of Jennifer Williams. Just when we thought people actually act more civil as the age you we saw the exact opposite with these ‘grown ass ladies”.

Well, Crooks wanted to clear her name and set the record straight as to why she slapped her former BFF, Jennifer on national television. In a recent interview with Baller AlertCrooks says that she would’ve of slap Jen whether the camera’s was rolling or not.

Check what she says of the incident below:

Nia: I did not go on television to slap Jen. Before I entered that suite I had a few cocktails & 30 mins of conversation had already taken place between Shaunie, Tami, Evelyn & I. What viewers don’t understand is, the 3 minutes you see was actually like 45mins of filming at the race track. I knew I was gonna address Jen. But me asking her what happened between her & I and her reaction to me, took me by surprise. Let me say this, I’m not out here gang banging threatening people & acting like I will bust everyone’s ass. However, please believe, I was not raised no punk & I don’t lip box. If you disrespect me, I will react. Whether the cameras were rolling or not, I would have slapped the shit out of Jen. Jen was real bold with that mouth but she gets like that when she thinks she will be rescued. This was one incident where her rescuing team didn’t get to her fast enough. So I had to slap some sense into her ass. I didn’t think it would ever go that far but the words coming out her mouth were punching me in my face. As my bestfriend Michele told me, A person who can control their tongue has power over their whole body. No need to run.

Crooks also explains the key situation, unscene commentary that was not aired on the show  how the two [she and Jen] became estranged from one another, her relationship with Evelyn Lozado and more. Head over to Baller Alert for the full interview.

As Jennifer Williams stated previously, a civil suit has been filed against Nia Crooks. Now that the incident has aired publicly, TMZ has obtained court documents of the pending lawsuit which charges Nia Crooks for assault and battery against Jennifer Williams. To add an insult to injury Jennifer Williams alongside her attorney’s will be holding a press conference tomorrow of the lawsuit.

Thursday (4/19) at 11am, at the law office of Rubenstein & Rynecki in Brooklyn, Jen & her civil attorney Sanford Rubenstein Esq will address the civil lawsuit filed in Supreme Court New York County.  Her criminal attorney, Sabrina Puglisi, will address the status of the criminal complaint filed by Jennifer in the state of Florida.

Things just got a bit interesting. I’m sure this will send a clear message to the other cast mates that hitting “Jennifer Williams” will come with hefty monetary fine and a possible felony charge count.

For those of you that haven’t seen it, here’s a recap of the incident.
