Bobby Brown, the ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston was arrested for DUI [Driving Under The Influence] yesterday Monday 26th in the afternoon hours.
According to reports Brown was pulled over for driving without a seat belt but when police officer [Mike Harris] caught up the star he appeared to be inebriated and was giving a sobriety test on spot. Brown failed the test and was taken into custody. Rumors suggest that Brown is hitting rock bottom once again. Friends of the star tells us that the singer is deeply saddened over the death of his his ex-wife and therefore maybe resorting to old addiction habits.
Brown was busted on a DUI-arrest back in 1996 and in 2003 he was arrested or possession of marijuana, driving without a license and speeding says Hollywood.com. Brown has alleged that he no longer drinks or smokes] except for an occasional cigarette however, it is clear that he still hasn’t kicked his habit for good.
This news sure comes at a worse time for the singer. Since the Whitney’s funeral service, Brown has yet to fully grieve, and bond with his daughter, Bobbi-Kris. The constant battle with Whitney’s family and not being able to see his daughter may be taken an emotional toll on the singer and this latest news smells like a deep cry for help. Drug Addiction [in any form] is a serious disease and it has and continues to kill it must be addressed and taken more seriously in this country.
Bobby has since posted bail and released from prison.
