Chris Brown Talks Of His Mother’s Abuse, Rhianna, And The Rise/Fall Of Fame, In New Song “This Is How I Feel”

Seems like Nas isn’t the only artist with unreleased lost tapes out in the world. Last night Chris Brown aka ‘Breezy’ released a new track of his entitled “How I Feel” where he talks about his childhood experiences from wanting to date the baddest b*tches – to growing up in an abusive home, and then later getting the fame and the girl only to have it all stripped away 2009 incident. Towards the end of the song Breezy affrims thats he is changed man and is ready to begin a new yet he won’t do no ’60 minutes interviews’.

In the opening line Breezy raps:

I was 15 in Virginia, n-gga with ambition
Young but I envisioned f-cking them bad b!tches
Live my life with no regrets
I try to show respect but you don’t give it
I guess you don’t understand when
It might take me a lifetime to take it back
And it might take you a lifetime to know the facts yeah

Chris then talks of his upbringing and witnessing his mother getting abused.

All alone sleeping in my bedroom
As I wet the sheets mama gonna be dead soon
‘Cause a man beat her but he don’t realize
She important to this family like a f-cking heirloom
Yeah a n-gga still found his way out
Record deal came a n-gga played out
My mama livin good, she takin days out
They saying boy all that hard work paid off
500 hundred racks for an hour show
But ain’t no never do the 60 minutes interview
‘Cause all you wanna do is twist my words up
And all I wanna do is flip my birds up

Midway through the song Chris talks about the Rhianna incident and getting redeemed 3 years later.

19 a n-gga went through a tragedy
3 years and a n-gga just found a better me
Yeah you might find another lover,
But you always started with Breezy like the letter B

Chris wraps up his verse with a warning to aspiring entertainers that the entertainment industry is definitely a gift and a curse.

Nightmares feeling haunted
Thinking do I really like to start s–t
Because fame ain’t freedom and this diamond chain only mean they hold you hostage
Now I got a lot of offers telling me to wear their clothes and they wanna be my sponsor
But when a n-gga fall off again they be like off him
And they gonna smile up in your face just like awesome
Great, wait, police and a thug can not relate
I guess this war on drugs is the debate
So i’m going to keep on living my life from day to day
learn from mistakes
