Who will be the next American Idol?
Last night, American Idol revealed their final 13 contestants that will battle for the Idol trophy and recording contract.
You could feel the nervous tension from both the judges and contestants.
Ryan Seacrest revealed the first top ten, those of whom that were chosen by America. The judges then invited six contestants to “sing for their lives” to compete for the three remaining wild card spots: Jen Hirsh, Jeremy Rosado, Brielle Von Hugel, Deandre Brackensick, Erika Van Pelt, and Reed Grimm. Each judge was allowed to make one wild card selection — for Randy, it was Erika, Jennifer chose Jeremy; and Steven picked Deandre, rounding out the Top 13.
The contestants are pictured above are: Hollie Cavanagh, Colton Dixon, Heejun Han, Jermaine Jones, Joshua Ledet, Shannon Magazine, Phillip Phillip, Jeremy Rosado, Jessica Sanchez, Eleise Testore, Erika Van, Pelt Skylar, DeAndre Brackensick.
