The Grammy award singer is gearing up to drop her sophomore album ‘The MF Life’ in March and today we feature two of her latest songs, “Rock, Paper, Scissors” and “Change The Record” Feat. B.O.B.. The first song is “Change The Record”. Fiona first premiered this song last year on BET’s Rip The Runway show and since its debut fans of the star have been patiently awaiting for its video release. Fiona snatched up rapper B.O.B. for the final version and it became and instant radio hit. Fiona admits that her song is not at all about male bashing but states that the record is all about empowerment and doing better.
If you can do better, then do better.” – Melanie Fiona
The second feature song is ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’. The singer sat down with Sound Savy and say that the song is a fusion of rock music mixed with game of love..
With ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’… I actually play rock band the game for real..and I thought it was just a really cool way to incorporate that with game of love. would be cool to It has a sort of.. retro feel to it and I love it.
