[Video] ‘E’ Captures Footage Of Whitney Houston Singing On The Set Of ‘Sparkle’

Entertainment Tonight released some never before seen video footage of Whitney Houston singing while on set of the Houston’s last film “Sparkle”. In the video Mark Twain Of ET interviewed Whitney, who preferred not be filmed alone, along with Sparkle director, Salim Akil and co-star singer, Jordan Sparks.

Twain says Whitney appeared “heavier and healthier” and seem to be excited about her new role. Whitney who plays Emma in the film, stated that she was instantly drawn to the film and noted that when she read the script she was shockingly surprise to know the church name “New Hope” was the exact name of the church where she’d grown up in and later received her ‘Home Going’ funeral service.

Houston also talks of her dislike for the use of profanity and dished on how she gave Jordan Sparks a mama-check during the shoot. As the video concludes Twain shows Houston singing “His “Eyes On The Sparrow” and Whitney pitch was spot on key.

The producers of ‘Sparkle’ are rumored to be moving rapidly with the film wrap -up as they are trying to release the filmas early as the summer in fear that other footages will be leaked given Houston’s untimely death.
