The National Basketball Association definitely switch up the agenda at this years All-star game. Instead of a halftime performance, the league opted for an opening performance instead and the chosen performer was none other than Ms.Barbie aka Nicki Minaj. Nicki performed twice; one prior to the announcement of the Western team players and then a second time following the announcement of the Eastern team players.
Nicki performed a few of her classic hit songs ‘Moment For Life and ‘Super Bass’ along with two of her new songs ‘Starships’ and ‘Turn Me On’ from her upcoming album :Roman . And man did Nicki dress the part as well. Nicki is definitely a risk taker when it come to fashion and she surely made a statement last night with her fashion garbs. Nicki rocked two different color wigs for each performance and sported a white one-piece ensemble with metallic futuristic accents that displayed throughout the entire design.
Nick seems to be a fan of the vatican hoody but she did manage to take it down a notch this time around. Nicki also sported a a five fingered ring with the word Queen written on it. I guess Nicki feels she’s the queen of rap right now.
