The song of the day goes to: Luke James “I Want You”. Luke James is one Def Jam’s most prominent artists. James is a singer-songwriter and has written and worked with some of the industry’s top artists like Beyonce, Chris Brown, and Britney Spears.
James was previously signed to J records with R&B group L&Q. His career never kicked off as planned and James later went solo. Under the advisement of Frank Gatson, the creative genius who worked with Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Tyrese, and Envogue, James managed to craft his skills which ultimately land him a record deal with Island Def Jam/Universal. James first single ‘I Want You’ has been burning up the charts and the song has reached over one million views on youtube since it’s release.
