[Hall Of Shame] National Enquirer Publishes Photo Of Whitney Houston Lying In Her Casket

Really? Now this is just low down dirty; shame on you National Inquirer and shame one the person who took the picture.

Fox 5 news reported that the National Inquirer unleashed a photo of music legend Whitney Houston lying in her coffin which they placed on their front page cover of their latest issue. Whitney appears in her favorite purple dress along with gold slippers on her feet and draped in $500,000 worth of jewelry in her gold pated casket.

The magazine which is out on stands right now by the way received immediate criticisms and verbal slants from Houston fans on twitter and facebook. Speculation quickly arose and all parties from the staff of the funeral home to one of Whitney’s family members were alleged to have participated in taking the photo.

Whoever sold that photo of Whitney Houston in her coffin to the National Enquirer sold their soul in the process, one fan tweeted yesterday.

Another added on the social media site: “So ppl really scooped this low by selling Whitney Houston dead in her coffin photo shame on you, she can’t even rest in peace.

The first guilty party was Whigham Funeral Home Service. The image is believed to have been taken inside the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark, New Jersey. Fox 5 news reached out to the funeral home and a employee who wanted to remain anonymous said they the Houston family are like family to them and they would never disrespect Cissy Houston or Whitney’s family in that manner. Furthermore they went on to say that, Whitney’s body was guarded by security 24 hours a day at the request of Cissy Houston and the only time that Whitney was unguarded by security was during the private ceremony that was held with Whitney’s family alone.

So who could’ve of done such a thing?

The second guilty party is Whitney’s family. According to fox 5 news, The Enquirer is not releasing any details about how they obtained it and No one from Houston’s family has called the photograph out as fraudulent. The estimated worth of a picture like is anywhere from half-a million and or more. This is a prime example of GREED and its ramification thereof.

The editor of the National Enquirer had a a different opinion in which she describes as “A Work Of ART”

“I thought it was beautiful,” publisher Mary Beth Wright told FoxNews.com. The National Enquirer stands behind their decision to publish the photo as they did when Elvis Presley died in 1977 and also in 1980 when ‘The Beatles’ member John Lennon died.
