For the Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 collection, Sarah Burton drew inspiration from the architecture of Gaudi and diverse oceanic life. Made in Italy, this extraordinary sandal embodies the concept, with sculptural straps rising from a shell-like heel. It has curvilinear suede straps form architectural cage sandal, a halter ankle wrap with adjustable buckle for custom fit and its 5 1/2″ inches stands on a metallic ombre wedge heel with ridged texture.
