The Truth Hurts!

Singer and music icon Chaka Khan interviewed with Pierce Morgan on CNN where she talked about Whitney Houston death and her fondest moments with the music legend. However, Chaka Khan made other revelations during the interview that shocked her fans and angered many of Whitney Houston fans as well.

The singer first address Clive Davis and her disapproval of him continuing the Pre-Grammy Party in the same hotel where Whitney died and still remained when the party took place.

I don’t know what could have motivated a person to have a party in a building where the person who’s life he’d influence so enormously and who’s life has been affected by hers [pause].. I don’t understand how he could’ve gone on with the party… A tribute is calling all of her friends, muscians, saying a prayer followed by a dinner, then everybody goes home. That’s it!.

Khan also announced that she is a recovered addict herself,
and says that she blames houston’s death on the the person(s) who flew her out to Grammy’s just one week before its premiere.

I stand on, whoever flew her out to perform at that party, should have provided someone to be there,” she said, “To somehow, keep the riff-raff out of the situation. To keep the dangerous people away.”

Khan went on to say that the ‘demonic machine’ can become a bad influence on stars.

I think we all, as artists, because we’re highly sensitive people, and this machine around us, this so-called ‘music industry,’ is such a demonic thing. It’s sacrifices people’s lives and their essences at the drop of a dime…I had a manager once say to me, You know you’re worth more money dead than alive.

I mean, I’ve cried for her, a lot over the years, so many times,” the singer said. “In a way I’ve mourned her, because I felt something was gonna happen because she was so close to the wire.

Khan later revealed that one of her fondest moments of Whitney is when she along with Bobby and Whitney ‘got high’ in Florida a few years back. Many people were angered by this comment and felt that Khan should have not mentioned this but the reality of it all is that Khan was speaking her truth and folks that are upset proves that ‘The Truth Does Hurt’

Whether you like or dislike what Chaka Khan said, it is very evident that DRUGS is notoriously exercised and promoted in the music industry and not perpetuated in urban, rural, and suburban neighborhoods alone.

Whitney Houston death is truly a tragedy. SAY NO TO DRUGS!!
