Whitney’s mother Cissy Houston has asked for Whitney’s body to be taken to Atlanta Georgia and funeral arrangements are underway. The Houston family released the following statement:

Bobby Brown returned to Los Angeles yesterday to be with his daughter Bobbi-Kristina who was hospitalized after being emotionally distraught since the death of her mother’s passing. Bobby Brown also released a statement.

It’s so sad that Whitney’s tragic death is reverred and stained with the same demon that tainted her music career and demise – DRUGS!!. We have lost too many heroes to substance abuse and we must acknowledge this a real threat to our society.
Celine Dion spoke said very bluntly “Drugs killed Whitney”. She went on to say that show business sets the stage and atmosphere for such behavior and that many people, not just Whitney are caught up in it.
