The 54th Annual Grammy Award Ceremony kicked off live last night at the Nokia theaters in downtown Los Angeles. The red carpet was full of stars but only a few stood out. We have ranked the best and worst dressed stars of then evening as well as the best performers of the night as well. Check out our gallery below and see who made our list.
Best Celebrity Dressers Of The Night
Rhianna definitely wore the best dress of the night. Rhianna wore Armani backed with gold accessories. The dress was form fitting and accuented her body perfectly. Ri-Ri says that she assisted the top designer with her look.
Katy Perry in a blue powder dress. I must say I like the blue hair. It’s working for her.
Kelly Rowland looked AMAZING!.
Jessie-J. Simple, Chic, And Formal.
Corrine Bailey Ray in Christian Siriano. FAB! Check out the shoes. SICK!
Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz. The neck accessory stood out the most and went perfectly with her dress. Swizz in a velvet blazer with the short bow tie.
Carrie Underwood.
Nominee, Wiz Kalifa and Amber Rose. I loved Wiz entire ensemble; the crop pants with the open shirt an blazer and the fedora hat. As for amber I thought she played a bit safe with a yellow chiffon dress but I loved the color and it matched perfectly with Wiz outfit.
Adele opted for a more traditional look but she managed to pull it off with her Light hair color, red lipstick, and a black sparkling sequence dress.
The Worst Dressers Of The Night.
Nicki Minaj by far the worst dress of them all. Dear Nicki/Roman whoever, please bring the old Nicki back. We now understand that the outfit and your date, the priest was all part of your performance but REALLY? Just because it was designed by Versace doesn’t mean it’s was a great design.
Nicki looked hideous! Nicki dress looked like an oversized table cloth that Nicki was hiding under. As for the performance, we didn’t get it either.
Fergie Of The Black Eyed Peas. Love Fergie but this was not your best look. You stood out for sure. The color of lace dress was annoyingly bright and the black underwear just didn’t mesh well with the dress.
Robyn …Now this outfit is a complete disaster. I’m not sure if this was silk skirt or what but her entire outfit looked completely disproportioned. The white t-shrt with the short hem skirt with the long cape in the back. And those shoes! REALLY? Timberland platform boots?
Bonnie Mckee. There was way too much going on here. Five different color and pattern designs on the dress alone, two different hair colors, and then bright yellow tassel sleeves. C’mon!

As for the performers the best of the night my favorites were Adele, Jennifer Hudson’s, Bruno Wars, Whitney tribute, Cold Play, The foo-fighters, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney and Tony Bennett and Carrie Underwood’s duet performance. But the two that stood out were Adele and Jennifer Hudson.
Adele made her music comeback last night after undergoing surgery to repair her vocal chords just several months prior leaving the the british singer voice less. Adele sang Rolling In The Deep and needless to say; she killed it. Adele also took home six Grammy awards.
