Talk about a nice gesture!
Sometimes not all ends well but in the divorce case of Russell Brand vs. Katy Perry that may be quite the contrary. Brand filed for divorce from Katy last month citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ and many people thought that he would cash in Katy’s 40 million dollar fortune since there was no pre-nup involved but Brand doesn’t want a dime of his soon to be ex-wife money.
Brand’s lawyer confirmed this statement and noted that when the divorce becomes final on Jun 30th of this year, Brand “won’t get any of Katy’s money”.
Seems like Brand wants nothing to do with his ex and start from scratch all over again. First Brand immediately unfollows Katy on twitter after their announcement split and now he’s opted out a potential 20 million dollar paycheck. One would assume that Brand’s love for Katy was indeed real.
I guess love don’t cost a thing!
