Allen Iverson Ordered to Pay $900,000 to Jewelry Store

A Georgia judge ordered former NBA baller, Allen Iverson to pay a hefty price to his jeweler earlier this week. In the case filed against Iverson, Aydin & Company Jewelers claims that they have not received any payment from Iverson who reportedly racked up his jewelry bill up to $375,000.

After several attempts made to obtain payment and still no contact with Iverson, Aydin & Company Jewelers took him to court and demanding the full payment.

Iverson never responded to the lawsuit, and now the judge has ordered Iverson to pay the jewelry bill, interest fees, court costs, and Aydin & Company Jewelers attorney fees totaling nearly $900,000. The judge granted A&C Jewelers to obtain the funds directly from Iverson bank account.

Yikes! Now that’s serious. Iverson has not made any comment as yet but then again, why would he? His bank account has already been seized so if the money is there A&C will receive their money. I’m pretty sure this a lesson learn. Don’t mess with the government.

Iverson has made no comments as yet but is unavailable

The records show … A.I. never responded to the lawsuit … so a default judgement was issued in favor of the jewelry store … allowing A&C to collect $859,896.46 for the bling, court costs, interest and attorneys fees.

But A.I. still didn’t pay … so earlier this month .. the judge signed off on an order which allows the store to recoup their loss directly from Iverson’s Wells Fargo bank account.

So far, it’s unclear if the store has received its money. Calls to Iverson’s rep have not been returned.
