From the review of the show it appeared as if Jennifer and Evelyn were BFF’s long before their debut on Basketball Wives Reality Show and two seemed to be inseparable each season.
Well, just as the seasons change so did Jennifer and Evelyn’s friendship. It all started when Jennifer made a a few snyde comments about Evelyn new fiancee’ NFl star, Chad Ochocinco in which Evelyn felt was a betrayal of their friendship. They seem to have patched things up afterwards but as the season concluded so did their friendship.Jennifer returned to NY to finalize her divorce from former NBA player Eric Williams while Evelyn remained in Miami with her boo.
So what happened?
Well, Jennifer revealed to Sister 2 Sister magazine that Evelyn is upset of her friendship with Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Nene Leaks.
“Let me tell you what she’s mad over ‘cause this always comes up. She hates the fact that I’m really good friends with Nene Leakes and she hates the fact that me and Mashonda are good friends. I feel like it’s all coming from a place of hurt, and she’s turning it into anger. Why do you care who I’m friends with? Like, that’s ridiculous,” says Jennifer.
“I live in New York. You live in Miami. I don’t care who you hang out with. I’m kinda over it because I just feel like I’m at a point at my life where I’m trying to get rid of negative energy. To me, I feel like it’s something so minuscule. It’s not like I slept with Chad. It’s not something irreparable. It’s something stupid that you’re mad over. If you really are mad because I have other friends, I think that’s completely ridiculous.”
Jennifer doesn’t rule out the possibility of a reconciliation with Evelyn but she has affirms that she is is moving towards a drama free life.
