According to Sky Living Network, Ri-Ri will be launching her own version of a Project Runway-style show in the UK. The show will search next generation of raw, undiscovered, designer talent says Sky Living.
Well, Ri-Ri is provocative, raw, sassy, and has a great fashion style so she maybe the right candidate for this job after-all. The show says that it will not be like current fashions shows, 24 Hour Catwalk, and NBC’s upcoming ‘Fashion Star’ where they showcase ready-to-wear outfits for aspiring designers.
The aspiring shows will be producing stage outfits for a string of celebrities and musicians over a ten week period and the grand prize winner will get the chance to design a unique stage look for Rihanna herself to wear during her Wireless performance in Hyde Park in July 2012.
Ri-Ri will be at the helm of this project as executive producer,casting contenders, editing, post production and making judge appearances. Ri-Ri has already snatched up
Nicola Roberts from the group, Girls Aloud to host the series.
Roberts was so delighted by the news and says:
“I was so flattered when Rihanna asked me to work with her on this show..I’m so excited for us to get started on finding a new up and coming British designer who just needs a chance, a little bit of help in getting their skills noticed.”
