Well, seems like Demi has found herself in a very dark place since her split with Ashton Kutcher. The actress was rushed to the hospital on Monday Jan 23. for exhaustion and substance abuse. Apparently Demi has abused drugs prior and has now returned to old habits now that she’s a single woman.
Demi’s daughter, Rumer Willis was photographed outside of an L.A. hospital smoking a cigarette and looking frantically worried about her mother as doctors reveal that Demi will seek professional help and remain in the hospital in an effort to treat her substance abuse issues.
Meanwhile Ashton flaunts his single life and tweets pics of himself surfing on the streets of Brazil while on vacation.
Some people are upset with Ashton and saying that he should be by herside for moral support despite their break-up. I mean REALLY? C’mon folks, they split last year, and the media wasted no time making a laughing spectacle of Ashton when they showed the moving truck in front of Demi’s house as well as the movers moving ashton’s items out of the home. Ashton has yet to admit his cheating ways and Demi has said over and over again that she wants a marriage of morals and values. So if Ashton did not live up to that, hence the reason why their divorcing now then why should he be there now? I’m pretty sure the two of them still have a genuine love for one another but Ashton should not be Demi’s savior in her drug battle, Demi should be.
Not sure what prompted Demi to begin using again but I truly hope she recovers from this and gets better soon!
