Aretha and Will have called off their wedding. Both Aretha and Will have agreed that things were moving too fast and getting married so soon might not be the best thing at this time.
The two have been friends for well over 25 years now and announced their engagement in the summer of 2010. So what happened? Well, its clear that their friendship is solid but they would like to build on their personal relationship before walking down the aile.
Aretha and Will made a public announcement:
Will and I have decided that were moving a little too fast, and that there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly. There will be no wedding at this time. We will not comment on it any further because of the very personal and sensitive nature of it. We appreciate all of the well wishes from friends and family.
I got it give to Aretha. She knows who she is and understands her worth even at the 69 years of age. Now that’s R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
